FICO Eatly World

Has anyone been to FICO? I'm curious what you thought about it. We are a family of four with a 9 and 12 year old

I had mixed feelings, even though I completely enjoyed it. Its insane in terms of size. You can eat well, and there are really interesting classes and demonstrations. The outside animals part is cool; the kids will love it. You can rent tricycles to get around. But it’s kind of artificial, a food shopping mall, basically. You should go; it’ll be a break from the usual Italian vacation experience.

We went before Covid and it was very interesting and we enjoyed it. The specialties from all around Italy were fascinating. We ate at a Neapolitan pizza place and the pizza certainly seemed genuine - in a good way. FICO has since 'evolved' due to less than imagined demand. It's open Thurs. to Sunday and now has added amusement part type rides. Apparently, a ticket is needed for the evening. https://www.fico.it/en/faq I think a family can have a good time, but I wouldn't put it at the top of your list.
