Thank you to all who responded to my previous posts about Gardaland and my northern Italy/Switzerland itinerary!
I have my itinerary dialed in at this point (and accommodations booked.) Now I am wondering about any festivals/fun events that would align with my itinerary dates/locations. If you know of any that are in/near my destinations and dates (and reachable via public transport), I'd love to hear about it! I will be with my husband and almost 9 year old son. We would love any festivals/events that would allow us to experience the culture of the place. Thank you!

June 14-18: Venice.
June 18-24: Ortisei.
June 24-28: Florence. (I know that the festival for the patron saint (San Giovanni) and Calcio Storico occur on the 24th and have found some info: https://www.visitflorence.com/florence-events/june-24-feast-day-in-florence.html. But if anyone has any suggestions about how best to experience this festival, I'd be very grateful.)
June 28-July 3: Santa Margherita Ligure
July 3-5: Varenna
July 5-12: Murren, Switzerland
July 12: Zurich (vs Lucerne) overnight, fly home on July 13
