In Fall 2024, after completing a RS Southern Italy tour we will piggy back the Sicily tour. Southern Italy ends in Naples and we are considering an over night ferry from Naples to Palermo rather than flying. I see two ferry companies available and wonder if anyone has had experience with either of them. Thanks.

I have not taken the ferry, but was considering it recently. I was able to find a youtube video where they show the boat and the cabin that you would sleep in. It looked very basic.
While looking it up, I did use the search engine on the forum and a few people commented that they had taken it, and felt they slept ok. Better on the ferry than the overnight train.
