Ferry to and from Sorrento - Capri - buy online in advance or wait (July)

Hi,
We will be in Sorrento the first week of July and are told that it is very busy. We are trying to decide if we should buy the ferry tickets online in advance to go to Capri and risk not being able to use them or just wait to get them the day we want to go (it would be a Tuesday). Also, if you purchase in advance and they are canceled due to weather, do they refund your money?

I was there last week. I had planned to buy tickets for the first ferry out two days in advance, but the company (Caremar) charges a fee for that. Because my apartment was such a long walk away, and Google maps gave me a horrible estimate for walking time, I didn't end up making it in time at 7:30 to get the 7:45 am boat. Another company had a ferry at 8:05 am and I bought that one instead. There were a number of people there but the ferries are rather large and it did not fill up. The ferry back around 4-5 pm was busier for sure.
