Ferry Strike on Lake Como - Need advise

I will arrive in Varenna on Sunday and have an event in Bellagio on Monday, September 9. I just learned of a Ferry Strike on Monday. Is is practical to think I can take a ferry before 9:00 am and return after 5:00 without issues? Thank you!

This is the information I received:

8 hours strike on Monday September 9th, 2024

Due to the 8 hours strike declared by the Craft Union Secretariat FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, UILT-UIL, FAISA-CISAL and UGL-FNA, Customers are informed that, in case of adhesion to the strike, all the public services carried out by Navigazione Lago di Como will be suspended on

Monday September 9th, 2024 from 09.00 am to 04.55 pm

Further runs that will not take place and possible suspension:

Table chart 1 service Como – Colico:

– Run no. 802 from Bellano (at 09.07 am);

– Run no. 902 from San Giovanni (at 09.06 am);

– Run no. 380 from Moltrasio (at 09.03 am);

– Run no. SR4 from Lezzeno (at 09.08 am);

– Run no. 382.

Table chart 2 service Colico – Como:

– Run no. 309 from Cernobbio (at 09.08 am);

– Run no. 15;

– Run no. 17;

– Run no. 345.

Table chart 4 service Bellagio – Lecco:

– Run no. 83 from Vassena (at 09.03 am).

Table chart 7 ferry service:

– Run no. B158 (4) from Bellagio (at 08.40 am) to Menaggio;

– Run no. T609 (4) from Menaggio (at 08.50 am) to Bellagio.

Possible delays are foreseen for the runs departing immediately after the end of the strike.

– During the strike no services will run outside the guaranteed times.

– Union members make up about 35 % of the crew and ground staff;

– No information has been given from the personnel that is not member of the National Union Secretariats about their adhesion to the strike.

– During previous strikes, no services were provided outside the guaranteed times.

The above information, in accordance with Law 146/1990, must be considered as a mere estimation, deriving from the analysis of conduct that took place during previous strikes
