We are landing in NAP and need to get to Sorrento.
Do we take a taxi to the port, then a ferry, then a taxi to our BnB, or just get a car and driver? I know traffic can be tricky, but there’s more stops with the ferry option.
Plus, I’ve read so many bad reviews about taking the ferries such as confusion, not knowing which ferry, and cancelations without notice.
Any help is appreciated!
Easiest way is take the bus from the airport to Sorrento and then a cab, if necessary, to your hotel.

Thank you, we are hoping to get to our accommodation as quickly as possible. Is the bus comfortable? Or hard seating like city buses? First time to Italy, so I have no clue what to expect.
Hi there, the above posters are absolutely correct, but your comment about it being your first trip to Italy gives me pause. Although I love Naples, it is definitely rougher than Rome, which is more chaotic than, let's say Milan. So, especially if it's an international arrival, perhaps err on the side of just getting where you need to go quickly and ask your hotel if they can book you a car to the hotel?
Thank you for the heads up! I will do that. Even though hiring a car will be quite pricey, ir might be worth it in this case.
