Does anyone know if the ferry from Sorrento to Naples typically operates on Easter Monday? I am planning my next trip and will be taking the overnight ferry to Sicily from Naples, trying to decide on dates. I'd rather take the ferry over to Naples than the Circumvesuviana if possible. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned in my original post that I had already looked at the Alilauro site and written to them. I guess I'll keep checking and hoping for a reply. Thanks again..

I would like to warn you, MANY modes of transportation are EXTREMELY busy on that day.....so book early! (when you do find out availability) One of the busiest times I have been on a train was that day.....

Thanks for that warning, Katherine. Any other tips on traveling at that time would be appreciated. I am hoping to spend several days/nights in Sorrento, including Holy Thursday and Good Friday so I can see their processions. Thanks again..
