My husband and I plan to spend 4 days in Positano in September. We will be arriving in Positano via car service from the Naples train station however when we return to Naples, we'd like to travel by ferry. Is there ferry service from Positano to Naples? I've read conflicting information on this subject. Thank you.

I'm afraid there is no Metro del Mare service this year, and it has been a very limited service for at least the last two years (last year for July and August only and mainly for the Gulf of Salerno). It was very heavily subsidised by the Regional government but they just could not afford to do it anymore. Your best bet is to go to Sorrento by boat or bus and then on to Naples by sea.
