We are wanting to take ferry from Palermo to Genoa and wondered if anyone has reviews of the ferry. This would be in late September.
Only one company operates that route: Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV).
They depart Palermo at 11pm and arrive at Genoa 21 hours later. If you have a car with you, typically 2 passengers and a car will pay about €350 in September. If you have no vehicles, then expect to pay around €70-80 per person (one way only) for just a seat. If you want sleep in a cabin, it's probably at least €250 for 2 people. I have no direct experience on that route. Go to any websites specialized in selling ferry tickets and see what you can find. Also directly with GNV (www.gnv.it).
