Hello dear travelers! I will be arriving Naples central by rail in Sept. We want to take the High speed ferry, Alilauro that departs from Molo Beverello terminal. I see many different buses on Google maps that get me there. But does anybody know the fastest or best way? There are many #'d lines, & getting out of Napoli cntrl. I know will be confusing. If all is on time I will have about 1 hr. to get the 11:00 to Sorrento. ( I do not want to take the circimvesuvian train unless weather forces me to.)
With only 1 hour I would take a taxi to the port. Should only take 15 to 20 minutes and cost between 15 and 20 euros. If the weather is good it is a nice ride with great views.

The fixed taxi fare is €13, but you need to ask for it.
The Alibus runs every 15-30 minutes. Takes 15 minutes to reach the port. Cost is 5€. Here's the timetable.

Thanks to all, good advice. Depending on the time we arrive, the bus seems like a good option. If not with the allotted time, the taxi and with the fixed fare "I do appreciate it" sounds good also.
And you should not be charged extra for luggage in a taxi.
Correct, no taxis anywhere charge for bags.
