Hi! I'm wondering if anyone knows if the ferry from Naples to Sorrento is running in October. I tried to make reservations online for a ferry trip on October 3rd and got a message that that date was unavailable. Thoughts?

My wife and I took the catamaran last year in late October ... no need to buy a ticket early. We came off our cruise ship. walked 10 minutes to the ferry terminal and bought our tickets at that time. Catamaran to Sorrento was on time and not full. We spent some time in Sorrento, had lunch, took the circumvesuviana train to Herculaneum, toured some more, then continued on the train back to Naples. A fun and easy day.

Alilauro isn't showing any runs after 9/30 but give NLG a try?
They only have one run a day in each direction but look to be operating in October:
