I'm planning to travel by ferry from Sicily (likely departing from Messina) to Salerno in February. I have a few questions:
Are the ferry services on this route still available in winter?
How common are cancellations due to bad weather during that month?
Checking a random weekday in February FerryHooper only found a single option for this trip.

I can't speak to common the cancellations are but the ticket does come with a warning "Travelling time may be subject to variations due to meteorological conditions." but that's more about punctuality than all out cancellation.
