Can anyone tell me where I can find the ferry schedule for Catania to Malta? Going in September.
Hi Larry, I believe it's Virtu Ferries who run between Sicily and Malta: http://www.virtuferries.com/ My husband and I will be going from Malta to Sicily in October and were initially planning on taking the ferry but found it's kind of expensive. Upon doing more research, it would appear the locals/experts on TripAdvisor.com recommend flying (mostly due to cost), which is what we will now be doing. The ferry sounds fun, though.
Thanks Angela. I found the same thing. Over 200 euros for the ferry for 2 people, and I booked a flight for $114 USD. What a monopoly they have going
It's crazy, huh?! Our flight is on Ryanair from Valletta to Trapani, and once the dust settled with all of Ryanair's add-on fees and whatnot, our flights came to $66/person. A shame, really, because we wanted to take the ferry but not at those prices. Hope you enjoy your trip!
