It looks like there are multiple boats to mainland. I want to take a ferry from Messina to Reggio Calabria...not S. Giovanni. Does anyone know if it is a different terminal? And I only see reservations for cars so does that mean I can board without reservation? Recommendations welcome as I am traveling alone. I have a hotel reservation in Reggio Calabria which I do not want to divert to S. Giovanni and then head further South if I can get there directly. Grazie!
