DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A FERRY OR BOAT FROM SORRENTO TO SOUTHWARD TO SALERNO?
IF THIS IS POSSIBLE FROM OUR HOTEL IN SORRENTO. THANKS.

I see one ferry system that does go from Sorrento to Salerno (http://www.metrodelmare.com/). However, their high season schedule ends 9/7 (today). On the low season schedule, the MM2 ferry has only one ferry that does this with an arrival time in Salerno at 09:15. The MM3 ferry also has one run that arrives in Salerno from Sorrento at 10:50. Not too much selection here. I see other ferry companies that have ferries from Salerno to and from Positano but not to Sorrento.
You can take the SITA bus from Salerno to Sorrento or in reverse but even the SITA bus doesn't do all the way. You have to change buses in Amalfi.
