We (2 adults) would like to take a car on a ferry between Reggio Calabria and Messina or Catania. Anyone have any experience with that route? I cant seem to easily find any info on line. Any suggested websites?

The ferry actually leaves from Villa San Giovanni, as I recall; it's a short drive from Reggio Calabria.

You can buy tickets online or at the ticket counter. The pre-embarkation access at Villa San Giovanni is chaotic (you need to cross some city streets). Take your time and you shall be fine. One-way fares are € 37.00
