Hi, Does anyone know the best way to find out the ferry schedule from Naples, Italy to the town of Amalfi?
We are flying into the airport in Naples and then want to take a ferry to Amalfi.
We have don the drive...and while beautiful....looking for a ferry ride this time...any help would be appreciated.

Donna - When you get to Napoli the Ferry/Hydrofoil Station is directly on the docks and, whether you want a Fery or a Hydrofoil to Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano, or Capri - all the companies run out of the same small area.
Whether you choose Metro del mar, L.N.G., AliLauro, or L.N.P., they are all there together. A very nice way to go indeed - you'll like it , whichever choice you make - In calm seas I would always prefer the Hydrofoil but nothing wrong with the local ferries either.

When are you going? According to their website Metro del Mare have shut down for the winter. Other than them, I am not aware of any other services from Naples to the AC towns in autumn/winter.

This is a couple of weeks earlier than usual.
There is still a service, weather permitting, between Naples and Sorrento.
