Hi, I am going to Rome on 13/08 and travelling to Bologna on 15/08, I have just found out this is a public holiday. I am concerned about the high speed trainon this day whether it will be disruppted.
I have the optionof changing my flight from Edinburgh to Bologna on 15th Aug and missing out on Rome, I have been before but we are taking our daughter for her 21st birthday. Can anyone advise on this please

Unlike in UK, high speed and local trains run 365 days a year in Italy.
Since the full summer schedules haven't been uploaded (the deadline is June 14), You can get an idea of the level of service during the major holydays using Easter Sunday as day of travel. Check both on trenitalia.com and italotreno.it .
