I wouldn't bother with reservations in February (although I do get then when we go in October and then just for the Ufuzi). Check opening/closing hours and days as February I suspect is definately an "off" season. Happy travels!

Randy,

I haven't been to Florence in February, but I doubt the major sites would be very busy at that time of the year. You didn't say which places you're planning to visit, but the two sites that usually require reservations are the Uffizi and Accademia.

With only two days for touring, be sure to check the opening/closing hours of whichever places you plan on seeing.

Happy travels!

Hi Randy,

I have been twice to Florence in February (05/07) and found it really quick and simple to get around, get in to galleries and museums etc., all the major sites I wanted to see. I always go straightaway to the Tourist Office to get updates on what is closed that is usually open, review my itinerary with them and ask for any suggestions to it. Really helpful service!

thanks for the answers! yeah, definitely Uffizi and Accademia...go to the top of the Duomo. I thought it may not be too busy.

Also thinking about maybe going to the Teatro del Sale.

reading about some of the B & Bs...but thinking about staying at the Hotel Casci with my fiancee.
