It has been many years since I have flown into FCO. I have searched this forum and googled for days but no real info found on actual distance to walk from Terminal 3 arrival to the baggage claim....only approximate length of time to clear security etc. I know it seems a bit silly but since I will most likely be a bit groggy from flight and have a minor foot/disability issue it would be helpful to be prepared or get a wheelchair to navigate to baggage area. Appreciate some info from recent travelers. Thanks!

It will depend on the gate you disembark but FCO is big and walks may be long.

And you are assuming your plane won't land at a gate way out in the boondocks. Plus it's not just the distance. It could be standing/creeping along at Immigration. When in doubt, request wheelchair assistance from your airline in advance of your flight
