FCO train station accessible from outside?

This might be a stupid question, but...
Can we access Rome airport train station from outside of FCO terminals? I was assuming we could, but now I am not so sure. Upon arrival from the U.S., we will be checking into Hilton hotel that is connected to the airport, leave luggage there, (we meet our group next morning at the airport) then plan to catch a train to Rome Termini station. This means we walk back to the airport. Now, do we have to go through airport security in order to catch a train? Do you have to be an arriving traveler in order to get on trains from the airport? We won't be able to go through airport security since we won't have boarding passes...

Yes the train station is landside outside of the terminals after you exit baggage claim. You don't have to go through security. You don't have to be an arriving traveler it is accessible to everyone. Airport workers use it to get to work.

TheFCO train station is next to the Hilton. It can be entered either next to the Hilton or from a sky bridge from the terminal outside of security.
