Enter from FIUMICINO AEROPORTO to FIRENZE SANTA MARIA NOVELLA.
From Rome Termini to FCO you can take a train (Leonardo Express), a taxi, a bus, etc.
With luggage and with 2 or 3 traveling together, the taxi is good.
There are express trains which leave at twice a day from FCO to Florence. These trains are direct trains, meaning there is no transfer at any of Rome's other train stations. This is the easiest way, however, the few times it leaves might not match up with your flight landing, so you could end up sitting for a long time in FCO's old, very dirty, semi-dangerous train station. It's up to you whether you want to take that risk.
The easiest thing to do is hop a train from FCO to Rome's main train station, Roma Termini. Those trains leave with relative frequency from FCO, so you won't need to wait nearly as long. Once you get to Roma Termini, trains to Firenze SMN (Florence's main train station) leave on the hour, I believe.
From Roma Termini, there are many trains leaving constantly for FCO. Either ask an agent or head to a kiosk to buy yourself a ticket.
