FCO-Termini Travel Connection Timing Question

Hello,
Travelling from Palermo, Sicily to Rome FCO airport in December and need to get a train to Florence. Landing at FCO at 11:30 am. Do I have enough time to make the train at Termini at 13:30 (1:30pm) or should I book the 14:30 train? Does that give me enough of a connection time? No bags checked travelling with small carryon luggage only.
Cheers

It should be, barring any delays in take-off or landing. You only need to get off the plane and exit the terminal, no checks. Once you get to the FCO train station, the express leaves every 15 minutes and takes just over a half hour. all that makes it tight, but doable with maybe a half hour to spare.

I would not purchase the ticket in advance because you don't know if your flight will be delayed thus making your train ticket useless. Once you arrive at FCO, you can purchase the ticket.

Unless you have found a deeply discounted fare, just get at the counter a BASE fare through ticket from FCO to Florence

I just realized you can get a train right at the FCO airport, so no need to go to Termini. Discounted fares are attractive if booked now but I only see Trenitalia not Italo at all... Fare is very cheap from FCO 18 euros for direct train, 21 euros (3 euros to upgrade to premium seat) -train from FCO is 13:53 so I think that is like 2.5 hours of a window.
