I will be arriving at FCO around 8am on a Thursday. Since there are 4 of us, I've decided to use a private shuttle. I am trying to get an idea of when I should have the shuttle arrive? We are not checking any baggage, but would like to purchase the Roma pass before leaving the airport.
If our flight touches down at 8am, what is a reasonable time to expect to be out of the airport (no checked bags, but purchasing a Roma Pass)

We arrived at the gate Dec 27 '08 around 9am, cleared imigration around 9:45am. On another arrival at FCO on April 5th '09 we arrived at the gate at 8:45am and cleared imigration by 9:15am.
The April arrival was less crowded than the Dec arrival, but we were one of the first 10-20 folks off the aircraft. You would need to add another 10-15 mins if you were seated in the rear of the aircraft. Of course, we had no bags to wait for, and just walked out those frosted doors with our rollaboards. Hope this helps.
I believe most of these services ask you for your flight info and then they tell you when they would pick you up. (And then they can check on your flight to see if it got delayed.)
