I have searched the archives for posts on this lounge at FCO but all are either outdated or not relevant. Does anyone have any opinions on this lounge? Their website says the entry fee is $39 for 3 hours but one review said the cost was $40 for 1 hour. Does anyone have the correct information on the entry fee? Thanks
I’m seeing $47 for two hours. https://www.plazapremiumlounge.com/en-uk/find/americas-europe/italy/rome/leonardo-da-vinci-fiumicino-airport/plaza-premium-lounge-schengen-area-dep-t3 FCO has a variety of restaurants and comfortable seating. I’m all about lounges but we had a pleasant stay at FCO without.
This is the info from the Fiumicino website:
https://www.adr.it/web/aeroporti-di-roma-en-/plaza-premium-lounge
And the website Alan kindly provided looks like it'll tell you what you need to know. Use the "Book your visit" function to calculate the cost for amount of travelers and time you'd like to use the lounge for.
Edited to remove duplicate link; Alan and I were typing at the same time. :O)
Thanks for the replies. What is confusing is that LoungeBuddy https://www.loungebuddy.com/FCO/plaza-premium-lounge-terminal-3-eRxFqyExT1 offers a $39 fee for 3 hours. These other sites offer €40 for 2 hours. Looks like great reviews. For a few $ difference I'll reserve our entry.
More to my post above.
I just found an news article (https://viewfromthewing.boardingarea.com/2019/03/11/american-express-acquiring-loungebuddy/) that American Express bought LoungeBuddy and that Amex is the only card you can use to reserve the Plaza Premium Lounge. That may explain the lower entry fee at FCO.
Yes, if you go through Lounge Buddy. But you can reserve directly on the Plaza Premium website without an Amex card.
