FCO connection inquiries (Schengen to non-Schengen)

On my upcoming return trip from Split, Croatia, I have a self-connection at FCO of only 1.5hrs. Schengen to non-Schengen. No checked bags.

My arriving flight lands in terminal 1, and business class ticket on British Airways departing from terminal 3/E gates.

I'm wondering if there are "fast track" lanes at the passport control as I connect between the terminals/gates? If yes, would my business class BA ticket allow for fast track access at said passport control?

Airport maps have only been so helpful, marking "fast track" lanes only at airport entries, not necessarily between 1- 3 terminals/connections.

Many many thanks, and hopefully others will find any answers helpful as well!

Fast Track (departures only) - FIUMICINO

The dedicated fast track channel allows the passenger easier and faster access to the security checkpoints ( not the passport lanes)

I have flown in/out of FCO but never connected there so have no insight on the process.

Your 90 minutes to self connect looks like a high wire act on a windy day.

Can you change a flight so you have more time?

thank you, joe32F!

I am regretting the connection time, but hoping for the best.
A high-wire act indeed, but now at least not blind-folded :).

One other 'eye opener'--- some flights at FCO park on the tarmac and passengers are bused to the terminal building, so it takes a bit longer. The driver waits until the bus is packed before heading for the terminal, so you wait for folks to get down the stairs to the bus. Whether your inbound flight does this ..... I have no clue

Good luck

@Joe24F, well...I made it. But everything that could go wrong did (as you predicted). My departing flight from Split was delayed when the plane didn't arrive at that gate, so we had to shuttle bus to a new plane (not a good start). When we landed at FCO we were 20 minute late, and after circling at the airport they did in fact have us park/deboard/shuttle bus to a gate (another 30min). By the time the bus dropped us at the arrival gate, I had only 40min to spare. My run from the gate to passport control was a 5 minute sprint, and then a very long 25min line at passport control. Luckily, I am an avid runner, wore my running shoes, and made it from passport control (at terminal 1) to a far E gate of Terminal 3 in 5 minutes.

*A helpful note for anyone who stumbles upon this with the same question: 10/10 would not recommend any layover under 2.5hrs at FCO when connecting schengen to non-schengen.

FCO passport control offered no exceptions to jump the line given my flight was boarding. The 7euro fast pass does no good in this situation.
