FCO airport hotel

Hello, we are 2 ppl looking for a 1 ngt stay out by FCO prior to our flight back home. We plan to take a train from Rome Termini to where ever we're staying out by FCO and recommendations would be most appreciated. We're looking for a place with 2 beds & under $250 Cdn for the ngt. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

On a trip earlier this year I stayed at B&B Hotel Roma Fiumicino Fiera Aeroporto 2. Nothing fancy but convenient, clean, inexpensive. Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special. Next to rail station that goes to FCO in one stop. Also offers airport shuttle at €6 - though no one was asked to pay going to FCO in the morning. It’s a short walk from a shopping center where there are a number of dining options.

I’m spending an overnight near FCO this summer. I chose Fiumicino, Italy which has hotels within minutes of the airport and with some locations providing shuttle service albeit for a small fee. Some of the them are less than $100 USD and a number of them around $150 to $200 USD per night for the time period that I will be there. Having been to Rome many times I chose this area to relax and enjoy an easy transition before my connecting flight. Hope this helps.

We stayed at the Hotel Tiber in Fiumicino at the beginning and end of our Italy trip in 2023. I think the room was less than 100E/night, they have a shuttle service to and from FCO, but cabs are pretty cheap as well if the schedule doesn't work ((so you would take the train to FCO, then get shuttle or cab to hotel). Quiet, and Fiumicino has lots of restaurants within walking distance along the river.

We have always spent the night at FCO Hilton. Easy access. Has dining options too.

Gail, is your flight very early? It looks like you're not going anywhere but Rome on this trip (????) so if that's the case and you don't have a ridiculously early flight, you might consider just staying in Rome?

Thanks to everyone who replied - much appreciated! I ended up booking at B&B Hotel Roma Fiumicino Aeroporto Fiera 1. The Tiber was unavailable. Ciao!
