Multiple times I have tried to fax the prefecture of the papal household in order to reserve tickets to September 2, 2015 mass and it is always busy. I am faxing from Canada with 011 39 06 6988 5863 and continuously get a busy signal.
I need to pick tickets up the morning of September 2, 2015, so I think this is the only way to make sure they are available? Ideas?

The only papal event I see scheduled for Sept. 2 (per http://www.vatican.va/various/prefettura/en/udienze_en.html) is a General Audience. An alternate way to reserve General Audiences is at http://www.santasusanna.org/popeVatican/tickets.html. I'm not sure what the fax issue is, although in olden days, some Italian fax lines worked better during business hours, when they were attended.
