Favorite Winery tours/Wine tastings

Hello, my daughter and I will be in Tuscany, two nights in Siena, one night not yet booked , and two nights in Florence. I The two locations I am thinking of for the final night is either Cortona or Moltepulciano.
Please share you favorite wineries and or tours for this area. We would love to visit a winery where we could sample the wine and enjoy a meal as well. We wan t to be able to absorb the culture and beauty of the area . Also would love to take a cooking class if any suggestions for that as well.

Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed Avignonesi - and it's near Cortona... https://www.avignonesi.it/

The street it's on is the border of Umbria and Tuscany. The tour is pleasant and the hosts are fun. Stay for lunch, though! We were there several years ago with adult friends. This past spring we took our three adult children -- and had a tremendous time. The meals and the setting for both visits was fabulous.

We also love the balsamic they make from their own grapes. Yum!

(Life tip: Get a driver for the adventure...)

We stayed at Castillo di Verrazzano when we were in Tuscany. It is just north of Greve, not far south of Florence. They serve both lunch and dinner.

We took the winery tour and lunch food and wine tasting and had a great time. We were served Prosecco, their Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserve, their Super Tuscan and finished with biscotti and vin Santo. We also sampled their amazing (and expensive) balsamic vinegar. If you consider them, be sure to block out enough time. The tour and lunch was more than three hours! You could take the bus from Florence to Greve in the morning, take the tour, have lunch and bus back to Florence.

We also had dinner there one night since it was our home base. It was before Christmas and we joined a Christmas dinner for tour bus drivers. They had adopted us by the end of the evening. There was lots of toasting and singing having a great time!

I'm glad you want to have a meal, the true way to judge wine is with the food it is intended to complement. I hope you have a wonderful trip!
