The family run winery of Ventolaio is my absolute favorite. We visited and bought there many times while living in Rome. Very small and intimate with some amazing Brunellos. The town of Montalcino is a worthy stop as well, only an hour from Siena, with great restaurant options.
I found with most wineries a call to schedule a visit is quite appreciated.
