What is your favorite rooftop restaurants for family dinner in Florence? Price/ dress doesn't matter. thank you! (not looking for a bar per se but to eat a meal)

This is the most famous. I've eaten here a few years ago invited by my cousin in Florence (glad didn't have to pay the bill). Pretentious patrons, but food decent albeit overpriced (although compared to some top restaurants in San Francisco, it's not that expensive). But this is probably the best view. If you want to impress your guests, this is the place. It is part of the Excelsior Hotel, one of the top 5 star hotels in Florence (Michael Jackson used to stay here when visited Florence).

Inside the La Scaletta Hotel, one hotel that is recommended by Rick Steves. I've eaten here too, much cheaper than the Sesto on Arno (I paid the bill this time) and less pretentious:

This is another one. Very close to La Scaletta, but never tried myself. Prices are not outrageous. I think it's attached to the Pitti Palace Hotel.

This is another famous one. Part of the Hotel Baglioni. Never tried myself. But's it's pretty well known. Great views for sure.
