I will be traveling from Milan to Sorrento and was wondering if it would be faster to fly from Milan to Naples and take the train to Sorrento or take the high-speed train?
Also, does anyone know how far it is from the Naples airport to the central train station?

I would fly to Naples, take public transport from airport to Naples Port Beverello and take Naples-Sorrento hydrofoil to Sorrento. This assumes you will be arriving during day light hours to enjoy the coast from the water. The details of this can be found in Ricks Italy book. I have done the train route w/ the transfer train in Naples it is long and not very scenic for most of trip.
