Fastest & least expensive way from Venice Island to Marco Polo Airport??

Fastest, easiest and least expensive do not go in the same sentence when describing transport to/from Marco Polo airport and Venice proper. :-)

Fastest and easiest is the most expensive. A private water taxi will run about 100 euro and take about 30 minutes. It can hold up to 8 passengers and luggage. It will pick you up at the closest canal access from where you are and deposit you in style at the docks at the airport. From the docks it is about a 5-10 minute walk to the terminal.

The other two methods will take about an hour to get you there.

Least expensive is a vaporetto to Piazzale Roma and then a bus to the airport. Drops you in front of the main terminal. Current cost 6.50 for the vap and 2 or 3 euro for the bus (blue ATVO express bus, 3 euro or orange ACTV bus 2 euro)

If you use ACTV all the way and still have valid vaparetto passes, the pass will cover the transport.

The other method is to take the ALilaguna shuttle boat to the airport docks. It is a larger boat with set routes and pickup points. Current Cost is 13 euro per person one way.

Does the ACTV have a boat that goes to the airport? I was looking at their route map and it shows a line "A" that starts at St.Angelo and goes to MP. However I think that line belongs to Alilaguna?

Vaporetto do not go to the airport.

By water only Alilaguna and water taxis go to the airport.

Busses run from Piazzale roma to the aiport.
