Fashion shopping in Milan

Hi All, I’m going to Milan on 19th of April and have one and half day which I want to do cloths shopping. Not a high end designer ones. I’m looking for small Italian fashion boutiques that I can find some interesting stuff… I’m an architect ;)
Thanks a lot

If you Google: “Quadrilatero della moda Milano” you will see the boundaries of the fashion district in Milan displayed on Google Maps. It’s basically around the intersection of Via Monte Napoleone and Via Verri/Via Sant’Andrea. Besides the famous fashion house stores (Prada, Gucci, Dolce e Gabbana, etc.) there are lots of boutiques in those streets.

I was in Milan in 2016. My hotel concierge desk had a shopping map! It had the high end shops of course, but interspersed on these amazing shopping streets were smaller boutiques. Wouldn't it be amazing to find a consignment shop there?! (I didn't have enough time to discover if there were).

Here is a link to a department store right across the way from the Duomo. https://www.rinascente.it/en/

You may not think of a department store as a cool place, but this store was. In case you wanted to bunch up purchases for VAT refunds. Have fun!!! ( I took hundreds of pictures of fashion windows and fashionable people while I was there--the fashion is amazing!!!)
