My husband and I are looking to stay at a Tuscan farmhouse where we can enjoy meals and socializing with other guests. We are planning this trip for September 2018; our 50th wedding anniversary. We would like to be close to a town/city, such as Siena but are open to other ideas. May I hear your ideas.

My family and i stayed at Andreini Agriturismo. It is located Monteroni D Arbia and about 20 minutes drive to Siena. Not sure whether thats close enough for you. Nevertheless, its a wonderful place and i highly recommend it.

Hi merlinmandj, In the past, many on this forum recommended Agriturismo Marciano, just outside of Siena. Based on the reviews, I recommended it to my nephew for his honeymoon and they loved it. Said it was the best part of their stay in Italy. Posters, tongue in cheek say "Shhhh, don't tell anyone about this place.' I hope one day to go back to Siena and experience this place for myself.
