Farmhouse in Southern Tuscany??

I need some help in deciding where to stay in southern Tuscany for four nights in October. I want to stay in a farmhouse that is located not to far from town and use that as our home base as we will be driving to various hill top towns during the week. The place that we stay should have its own entrance and I would like a little kitchen and living area. There are only two of us but I hate to feel cramped so something fairly large would be great. I really don't want to spend more than $100 a night and hopefully that would include breakfast. I have googled and researched places but it gets pretty overwhelming so I thought I would ask you guys. Thanks in advance for your responses.

You might want to try www.slowtrav.com It's a site that is dedicated to the "slow travel" part of the "slow food" movement, so they are more into farms & connecting with the local culture than others. FYI - the slow food movement actually started in Italy, although it's gone global since. You can also look into the book "Go slow Italy" that contains descriptions of farms/orchards that also function as places to stay for tourists. Usually family run.
