Hello!
My husband and I are travelling to the Florence and Sienna area at the end of March. We are interested in touring farms with livestock, cheese making, grain milling etc. Can anyone provide information about farms in the area which offer tours such as these? Or perhaps a tour guide who could arrange for this type of tour in combination with a winery tour?

For a farm - Il Casale gets my vote. Amazing cheese made right there. You can watch and learn when they make it. Tour the farm, stay for lunch. All the food comes from the farm and all made there except the balsamic vinegar.
I did this on a tour with Roberto from Rick's TV show and book. One of my favorite days last september was with Roberto and the locals we meet that day. Pickup and dropped us off at our hotel in Siena (also can do Florence).
Joinable tours are cheap but private tours are a little more expensive.
