Hi guys! We (8 person, around 60 years old, but very active)are planing trip to Lake Region (Milan - Venice) May 3 - May 9. On May 5 we planning party - preferably on local farm with home Italian food (lamb, cheese, wine...). And between Milan and Venice we want to drive and hike around one or two lakes. Any advice for good farm or B&B? Which Lake better? Any other suggestions? All ideas will greatly accepted.

I like Lake Maggiorie. It is my favorite, followed by Lake Garda. Let me know if you want information about these two lakes. I have stayed at hotels in several cities around these lakes.
