Farm House in Tuscany

http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6913 We stayed at this place when we went to Italy two years ago. We were going to stay 3 days on our way to Florence. We ended up staying 6 days and skipping Florence. It is located near Mt. San Sevino, about halfway between Arezzo and Siena. We're headed back for our second trip to Italy and will stay here for 5 days. The proprietors are an american couple transplanted to Italy 4 years ago. They are wonderful people. This is in the country 3 miles from town, so you'll want a car. There is a very nice restaurant about 1/2 mile away, called Il Caccitore.

My husband and I are renting a villa outside of Cortona for 6 nights in September. Would love to hear about your favorite finds in Tuscany for ideas for our day trips. Any great wineries that you visited? Any places that are best skipped with limited time?
