We had the most fantastic tour guide in Rome. My sisters and I took a personal tour of The Vatican with a woman who was referred by a guide who Rick Steves had recommended in his Rome book. She was unbelievable and made the tour the highlight of our trip. She was very prompt with her reply to our e-mail. She has an extensive knowledge of art and history, has a wonderful personality, and speaks perfect English.

45 euros per hour. We booked her for 3 hours. I did not tip her but brought her a gift from Washington. She was very helpful in answering questions prior to my trip.
