Today we had a 3 hour private tour with local Rome guide Giovanna Terzulli, she is fantastic! She is very nice, knowledgeable, friendly (she knows everyone at the Colosseum which made the tour easier), we highly recommend her. We got lost finding her, and we bumped into another Rick Steves guide (Ciao Francesca!) who knows Giovanna and called her to get us connected! Everyone was so nice, thank you Giovanna! In 2009, my wife and I had an excellent guide, Giovanna Terzulli, to help us tour Rome for the first time. We looked her up again for our most recent trip to Rome last month. We really enjoyed her knowledge of all the major historical sites and a few “ off the beaten path” ones. She took us to the basement of a large department store which had original aqueducts preserved behind glass. She showed us lively spots with great views to stop by for a quick refreshment and overall we found her great to “ pal around” with. Thank you again Giovanna for a great tour !!

This sounds wonderful. My husband and close friends will be in Rome in late October and will be sure to email Giovanna about her availability and possible private tour of the Colosseum. May I ask what the cost of the 3 hour private tour? Thank you!
