Family friendly tour recommendations

Hello! I’m looking for family friendly tours in Florence and Rome. There are many wonderful tour companies I have been looking at but really trying to find ones that are family friendly and are interaction for kids. Some of these sites could get quite boring for kids and I hope this will make it more fun and engaging for my kids. I did find a few but would greatly appreciate recommendations. It’s great to visit a site but a whole other thing to be on a tour and learn information. Definitely interested in one for the Vatican and any others. Thank you!

Hi Jamie -
I'm going to include a link to one of your previous posts as it'll provide some important details.

Your children are ages 6 and 11, and you are planning 3 nights/2.5 days in Rome and 3 nights/2.5 days in Florence.
Yes, there are any number of family-friendly tours - either booked through some of the museums themselves or independent companies - but you don't mention WHICH attractions your family is interested in seeing?

I did find a few but would greatly appreciate recommendations.

A few tour companies or a few attractions? And which attractions do you think could be boring for your kids? Depending on which those are, you could spend some time researching them online and bringing up age-appropriate material that will prepare them for what they'll be seeing. Even if you have a guide, a bit of background in advance will be helpful. :O)

We will be in Florence 4 days and Rome 5 days. The parents want to see the attraction in both locations like Uffanzi, Duamo, and academia. In Rome we would like to visit the colosseum as well as Vatican and some other sites. I did find some family friendly tours and was just wondering if anyone had specific ones they had enjoyed. I enjoy getting first hand experience to help shape my decisions.

How old are your kids?

Walks of Italy has excellent tours , have done a few with kids maybe 9-13 and they seemed to enjoy

Also recommend eatingeurope.com food tours

There are bike tours of Appian Way as well

Need to know ages.
