Hi all,
I have been reading up on various tour guides and companies in Rome for the Vatican, Colosseum, etc. but am having trouble narrowing it down to any finalists.
We are a family of six. Two adults, one grandpa, and three kids (6,9, 12). We want to do a kid-friendly tour of the Vatican museums and St. Peter's, as well as (probably) a tour of Ancient Rome. we will be in Rome the week after Easter this April.
So here are some questions:
Do we think we need a tour of ancient Rome or can we self guide? If we need a tour, who do you all recommend?
I firmly believe we need a tour at the Vatican. We have tix for the papal general audience on a Weds. AM. Will it be too crowded/exhausting to do our Vatican tour that same afternoon? Any general recommendations as far as AM vs afternoon and recommended days of the week for Vatican tours?
Thank you so much!
