Does anyone have advice on where to rent an apartment in Rome to be around families. We will be traveling with 13 year girls and would like kind of a family oriented neighborhood. We found something similar in Barcelona a few years ago and enjoyed being in a neighborhood with families and younger children. Any suggestions.

You'll have lots of options in Rome, but not right in the heart of the historic center, as most families have been priced out of it.
Check out Piazza San Cosimato in Trastevere. Lots of kids playing in the piazza in the evening.
