We are a large group of 12 (adults and kids). We will have one night in Venice during the first week of October. Any suggestions for a budget conscious traditional dinner that could accommodate our group would be greatly appreciated!!
Assuming you want to keep the cost under control, and knowing a lot of Venice restaurants cannot handle a big group, I recommend NoNo Risorto, which you will also find in Rick Steves' guide. It's family friendly, has a nice garden, lots of locals, good prices. I would call to reserve since you are so many....
Assuming younwant good traditional Venetian food without breaking the bank, I suggest you reserve two tables for six at Taverna San Trovaso,,or ask if they can do a table for twelve.

The back room ( not the first one you walk into from the entrance) has very nice ambiance, with brick walls.
