I believe I saw an article in one of Rick Steve's presentation about arranging to have a dinner with an Italian family in Bologna. Is there anyone familiar with this?

I don't remember anything from Rick on that subject, but there is a Samantha Brown "Passport to Europe" show that addresses dining with a local family in Bologna. Try and catch a rerun of it on the travel channel. They show her reruns quite often.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I really enjoy mixing with the people and this sounds great. The family get-togethers are called "cesarine".
