Fairs festivals in the Dolomites late September

We are in the planning phases for visiting the Dolomites next September. We are leaving Florence and driving back to Munich where we will return our rental car. We have three nights to devote to the region ( which I realize is short). Since the end of September just passed, were there any fairs, festivals or other events during that time which you enjoyed ? I’d like to hear about anything that was a fun cultural event. I’m also reconsidering staying in Ortisei and Cortina and considering an agriturismo or Rifugio

If you’ve had a great experience at a charming, picturesque spot, I’d love to hear about it. I’m finding it challenging to find this information
