Fabulous place to stay in Tuscany

Occasionally you come across a place that really stands out as a special place.
While traveling through the hill towns of Tuscany we chose an Agritourisimo to stay for 5 nights. The completely renovated Villa which has a wine cellar that dates back to the 11th century and nestled in the hills of Chianti is called Terra de Baccio. If you are looking for a beautiful, friendly, and warm environment then you really should check this place out. A ten minute walk through the vineyards brings you to the quaint small town of Greve which has everything one could want. It is primarily a local town with few tourists which is what we were searching for but close and easy access to the hill towns that you must see while in Tuscany. I am in no way associated with De Baccio but merely a very happy customer and can endorse this Villa full heartedly. An excellent breakfast in the morning, fantastic wine grown there on the premises, olive trees and forests, green, quiet, and just plain lovely. The rooms were comfortable and cozy with our own fireplace, and brand new temperpedic mattresses. Many Colors abound in the lovely decorations of each room and it is clear this place has had much love poured into it. A sauna built into a 1,000 year old renovated shack, old Roman roads running throughout the area, a gorgeous swimming pool, and quiet....lots of quiet. (sigh)
Iliana is the daughter of the owner and is friendly, warm and informative. She will help you with all your questions and is a treasure trove. She is one of those people that you will remember. Thats all for now... If you would like more information don't hesitate to drop me a private message.
