We are ending our 30th anniversary trip to Italy in Rome. We are usually moderately priced travelers. But for our last full day/night in Rome we would like to have a evening to remember. Perhaps a dining spot with entertainment and view etc. that we may need to dress up for and spend a bit more than usual for a topper for our trip to Italy. We were imaging dinner at a castle or top of a beautiful hotel with music and fabulous food. Any ideas?
The Hotel Hassler. Very classy, rooftop restaurant.
I also point you to Imago at The Hassler, with the added note that their menu leans international/fusion while the Salone Eva menu is more traditional central Italy. Places that are off the beaten path will make the dressing up part a little harder.
If you haven't taken a few minutes before, and timing allows, be sure to check out the interior of the church at the top of the steps, especially the side altars.
