Extra busy on the trains for the Elections?

I've just received an email from Italo treno encouraging use of their trains so that people can return to their commune so they can vote in the European elections.

The dates are 8th and 9th June 2024.

I'd expect a bit of extra use on the trains going and coming back.

yes?

Too funny. My husband literally got on a train for Turin an hour ago (well the one that goes to somewhere in France, they transfer to a bus, they make it by the landslide that has closed the tunnel, make it to the Italian side, and then get on another train)..... Anyway, he just got today as he was headed to Gare de Lyon his voting notice -- and said that based on that, he can now get his ticket reimbursed !!! (He is staying nearly four weeks)
